Disabled Facilities

We have provided building services and facilities for various disabilities across many of the projects we have undertaken. Whether it be a new kitchen or bathroom, or in complete complex of housing covering areas such as communal lounges, laundry rooms, offices and corridors we are able to help. In a recent project we were approved housing association building contractors for the Cynon Taf community housing group where we took care of a 26 bed housing court development. We installed a variety of disabled facilities all of which can be seen below. We have fitted kitchens with all associated works and all to RNIB standards.

During the refurbishment works each tenant along with most of their belongings had to be moved from their own flat to an available empty flat for the duration of the works and back again upon completion. Working in any tenanted properties requires patience, tact and common sense to say nothing of a sense of humour and dealing with elderly tenants presents its own set of problems due to disabilities or illness. Our experienced operatives were understanding of the needs of the individual tenant and took this into account during the move to and from their flat.

Level Access Showers

In providing and installing level access showers we feel that we have made a real difference to lot of tenants life's making it alot easier for the elderly and disabled to bathe and give them more independence during what is a daily routine. Wheelchair Access

If you have experienced a temporary disability or have a permanent disability which requires you to be in a wheelchair there can be nothing more frustrating than a place without wheelchair access. Among many of the projects we have completed on small and large scales we have delivered wheelchair access to a number of housing associations and local authorities also.
